It might have been Harry Styles’ mom’s suspicion for him to try-out for a U.K.’s X Factor, though it was his suspicion to call a organisation he was interconnected adult with One Direction.
“I know they’re not here to urge anything else, but it was me,” Styles told CBS Sunday Morning‘s Tony Dokoupil in a new interview, referring to his bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson.
“I suspicion it sounded good. We threw around names for a small bit, and we overtly don’t know. we suggested it and everybody was like ‘Yeah we like that’ and afterwards it kind of stuck, and that was what it was,” he explained.
The thespian answered questions about a good times he had with One Direction, who he initial assimilated when he was a teenager — “First of all, it’s fun since you’re not during school,” he joked — and spoke about his initial solo album, that he expelled in May.
“It didn’t feel frightful to me,” Styles said. “The suspicion of creation something that I wasn’t 100 percent behind is most scarier to me.”
