“Drag Me Down,” One Direction’s initial singular from their stirring album, has been commanding charts given it debuted final month. Now, Shawn Mendes, a 17-year-old Vine star-turned-YouTuber-turned-pop star, has given it an acoustic makeover.
Set opposite a black and white behind drop, Mendes tells fans, “I wish we like it.” They positively did. Soon after he expelled a lane Wednesday night, #ShawnsNewCover began trending.
“Drag Me Down” was One Direction’s initial strain available though Zayn Malik, who left a rope in March, and showed fans a course of a band’s sound. “Obviously it’s opposite … though it’s still going great, and that’s what this manuscript is about,” Liam Payne pronounced while introducing a song on Good Morning America. The band’s subsequent manuscript is due out this fall.
